Why KiltedMedia?

We understand that your time is better spent writing mortgages than it is crafting marketing materials. We also understand that it’s hard to outsource your marketing with confidence because of the intricacies in the mortgage industry. As we work exclusively with mortgage professionals in Canada and we got our start in writing mortgages, not marketing, we truly know your business and are happy to partner with you. Let us handle your marketing, together we can take your business to the next level, and you can be closing more deals.

HOW TO MARKET YOUR MORTGAGE BUSINESS.

Here’s the plan

U
PHASE ONE

BE REFERABLE ONLINE

Most successful mortgage professionals in Canada are great with people. This is a relationship business. When someone passes your name, and you get googled, what comes up? How many people have looked for you online, but didn’t find anything that inspired them to call you? Being referable online starts with a responsive website that is kept up to date with mortgage content.

PHASE TWO

Internal Marketing

Once you have a solid online presense, the next step is to be present with your existing clients. They already know you, like you, and have trusted you. You should have multiple connection points with these people. They are your best chance to get warm leads through referrals. You need an online and offline strategy to stay in touch. Those strategies should work in tandem.

PHASE THREE

External Marketing

Only once you have a solid online presense and you have a plan in place to keep in front of your existing clients, should you consider external marketing to attract new clients online. The goal here is to be very specific with the type of clients you want to work with, both on a product and a location bases. The shotgun approach to online marketing is a terrible idea.

RESULT

CLOSE MORE DEALS

With a solid online presence, a plan in place to connect with your existing clients both online and offline, and a targeted marketing campaign to reach new clients, you’re bound to generate more leads, talk with more potential clients, get in front of people who value your service, and in turn you can expect to grow your mortgage business exponentially.

SEAN, YOU’RE IN PHASE ONE

BE REFERABLE ONLINE

PHASE ONE STEP ONE

Hey Sean, as we discussed, your site at http://www.bluemountainmortgages.com/ is doing what it should, however when you click into the industry news section, the RSS feed is taking people away from your site to share content. Effectively you are sending them away when you should be focused on retaining them.

My suggestion would be to setup a mortgage blog on a subdomain of your site, example blog.bluemountainmortgages.com, and have the industry news linked to here instead of doing the Which Mortgage RSS. Below is an example of our blogsite, of course it can be customized with to match the design scheme of your original site.

The Blogsite

Ideal if you already have a decent website but need a platform to display your content.

$495

PHASE 1 STEP 2

A content package to keep the site up to date is a great way to be “current”, people want to see a proof of life on your site, and an updated blog accomplishes this. Having the content published to your blog also gives you material to share with your existing clients. This can be through social media, or a newsletter. The point is, rather than sharing articles that drive people away from you, and to someone else (ex Which Mortgage, National Post, or Globe and Mail), share articles that are on your blog, driving them to you!

We sell packages of 24 or 48 articles. Typically bi-monthly content is enough to keep the blog current, but if you’d like more content to share socially, we can double down and go with weekly content.

MORTGAGE BLOG CONTENT

We publish relevant mortgage blog content to your site while you’re working on writing mortgages. Below are three sample articles.

HAVING AN UPDATED BLOG GIVES CONFIDENCE TO POTENTIAL CLIENTS THAT YOU WANT THEIR BUSINESS.

24 ARTICLES – $995/Year or 48 ARTICLES – $1490/Year

PHASE TWO

INTERNAL MARKETING

PHASE 2 STEP 1

As we discussed, we’re currently working on new products that can be used in Phase 2, but they aren’t ready yet. We plan on having something together early July 2018 and would love to include you in our beta test at a reduced price.

PHASE THREE

EXTERNAL MARKETING

Let’s manage Phase 1 and 2 first, then move onto Phase 3 once they’re both in place.

Let’s Get Started!

So here’s what I’m thinking would be best for you at this point.

  • Blogsite – $495.00 plus tax
  • Content – $995.00 plus tax – 24 articles published over 1 year.
  • Brand Story Consultation with Jon from Get Clear Consulting.

Now, as for the “Building a Brand Story” Marketing framework that we discussed, here is a link to the first 3 chapters of the book, and I will go ahead and send an etroduction to Jon at Get Clear Consulting. Jon is a certified story brand guide and can explain it a little more. If you’re interested, he can do a 2 hour consultation and develop a “Brand Script” that will be a guide for all your future marketing. I will let you guys work out the pricing and all that directly.

As your recommendations are pretty straightforward in building a blogsite and publishing content, I’ve gone ahead and prepared an invoice for your convenience. If you’re ready to proceed, hit the button below, pay the invoice, and we’ll start putting things together right away. If you want to discuss further, please email me anytime. jackson@kiltedmedia.ca.

Your Estimated timeline for these recommendations is: 10 business days from the time the invoice is paid.
